Discover the Families Who Built South Carolina
Welcome to My Homeland Roots. This site is about the families who helped settle Orangeburg and Greenville, South Carolina. Some of my ancestors came from Germany and Switzerland, while others came from Scotland and Ireland. Many first passed through Virginia and North Carolina before settling in South Carolina. Later, some families moved west in the 1820s to Alabama and Texas.
